MOSCOW, Sep 18 (PRIME) -- The number of pre-orders for Apple’s new smartphones with Russian retailer re:Store is bigger than in 2018, and interest in the iPhone 11 is 10 times higher than in the iPhone XR, the seller’s spokeswoman Lyudmila Semushina told PRIME on Wednesday.

“During the first hours of pre-ordering that kicked off at 12:01 a.m. on September 18 via website re-store.ru, the number of pre-orders of the new iPhone 11 Pro was twice as much as of the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max for the similar period. Models in new colors with medium and big memory are popular,” Semushina said.

Apple unveiled three new smartphones – the iPhone 11, the iPhone 11 Pro, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max – on September 10. Pre-orders in Russia started on Wednesday with sales to open on Saturday.
